In the meeting the following subjects & topics were discussed, reviewed, and passed by the Board:

1. All new members have a waiting period of 30 days of submitting their application - PASSED BY 19 DIRECTORS
1. This is period consist of what the board calls processing.
1. Processing includes:
1. Background and Credit check
2. Review of quality by inspector and members
2. Rights of members within the association
1. New members get voting rights after 90 days of Inspectors approval.
2. A member who would like to be part of an elected member of the board must have already been a good standing member for 1 yr.
2. Airline, Rental Car, Events - PASSED BY 19 DIRECTORS
1. Airline tickets - NCAJA
1. All free airline tickets that NCAJA holds should be used six months before the due date. If NCAJA holds excess tickets (not used within time frame), the association should release these tickets for sale at the price of $200 each (this price is subject to change every yr, price agreed by boared of directors for 2010 is $200).
2. Rental Car Vouchers - NCAJA
1. All free rental car vouchers that NCAJA holds should be used two months prior to due date. If NCAJA holds excess vouchers (not used within the time frame), the association should release these tickets for sale at the price of $15 per rental day (this price is subject to change every yr, price agreed by board of directors for 2010 is $15).
3. Hotels
1. Free Hotels
1. Activity/Event Group has the ability to propose the use of these free hotel rooms. The proposal must be approved during the meeting.
1. Priority of usage
1. Those of sponsor the event
2. Secretary of NCAJA (if he/she attends)
3. Staff that are part of the event team (if they need to make special trips).

(Event/Activity coordinator has the ability of applying to the maximum of 3 tickets).

3. Board of directors have approved Rubin Bindra - B & B Fine Gems as group leader of Education and Development Committee of NCAJA.
